Department of Finance and Operations

The department has several departments: Finances ensure the financial management of this institution, the processing of taxes, bookkeeping, financial analyses, economic reporting, internal audits, property records, staff selection, guidance and development and social care.

Maintenance is in charge of buildings and facilities, including repairs and maintenance, purchasing of goods and services, bookkeeping, implementation of ecological procedures, implementation of investment projects, institution hardware and software management.

The Department of Finance and Operations cooperates with all of the SNG sections. It provides them with the necessary support and counselling in relevant areas (finance, operations, security and protection, administration of branch facilities). They also work with state and general administration institutions and domestic and international suppliers and customers. It is the largest SNG section not only in terms of the number of its departments and employees, but also in the scope of activities that it carries out, ensures and controls. It is the guarantor of compliance with the valid legislation of the Slovak Republic in connection with the standard legal acts of the European Union within the framework of the area that it covers.
