Mansion of Strážky Spišská Belá

The SNG acquired the mansion after 1972 in a transfer following the death of its late owner, Baroness Margita Czóbelová. The mansion was refurbished and the English park from the 19th century was revitalised and currently houses exhibit of 20th century plastic art. The mansion houses spaces for permanent exhibits but also dramatic, musical and educational programs. The permanent exhibit mainly presents the work of László Mednyánszky, portraits from Spiš region, collection of the historical library and antique furniture from the mansion.
