Production of Projects and Exhibitions Section

The Department of Production of Projects and Exhibitions is directly managed by the Deputy of General Director. It deals with production preparations, organisation and implementation of permanent exhibitions, as well as temporary exhibitions and exhibitions on loan of the SNG and SNG projects abroad. The department organises expositions and exhibitions according to documents and plans of the curators of the collections of old, modern and contemporary art.

In addition to activities related to the actual preparation and installation of exhibitions and expositions, the department ensures the production of publications for permanent expositions, exhibitions, educational events and promotion of the SNG, in both managerial and editorial capacity.

The Department is also responsible for the physical realisation of permanent expositions and exhibitions, ensured by professional workers -  arrangers and mounters -  in close cooperation with the SNG. They manage the specialised tools that are required, suggest other purchases and, together with the production, schedule the exhibitions according to the approved exhibition plan for that year.They also propose solutions and procedures to fulfil the curatorial and architectural concept for the exhibition.
