Protection and Preservation of Collections Section

The Department of Protection and Preservation of Collections is directly managed by the Deputy of General Director. It is responsible for ensuring security of the premises and property of the SNG, for health and safety at work and fire protection. It is also responsible for managing the depositaries, safe storage of collection items in their place of permanent storage, as well as specialised treatment and restoration of the collections of the SNG.
