The exhibition at the National Museum in Krakow with almost 150 objects from more than two dozen institutions is the first truly comprehensive presentation of Baroque art from the territory of the present-day Slovakia not only in Poland but beyond our borders in general.
The artefacts from the SNG collections form the core of the exhibition, which is accompanied by a Polish-English catalogue. In order to offer the Polish audience a truly representative picture of the Baroque art from this part of the multi-ethnic Hungary, our collections were supplemented by selected objects from other Slovak and foreign collections – both state and private ones.
