Returning to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ľudovít Fulla, this
accompanying exhibition is looking for the broader world-viewed,
thematic, motivic, iconographic, visual contexts, parallels, inspiration
or loose analogy of Fulla’s artistic view on Slovak world with the
artworks of other representatives of our modern art - from the early
20th century until his conclusion.
The exhibition presents the range of changes of understanding of the phenomenon “Slovakness,” “the theme” of Slovak world of different authors, in different periods of their work, and in various styles and genres (ranging from paintings and sculptures till installation and video).
