The exhibition presents a fragment of an extensive series of photographs by Martin Martinček (1913–2004), presented to the Slovak National Gallery after his retrospective exhibition installed at Esterházy Palace in Bratislava at the turn of 2001.
The exhibition focuses on the theme seen by Martinček as one of his most important subject with great appeal to the public – the world and life of the Liptov mountain people viewed and recorded by the artist from the 1950s to 1970s.
