Due to the reconstruction of the SNG, the gallery decided to move all its operations except those in Esterházy Palace to one place. The administration is now housed in the building belonging to the Ministry of Culutre, building known as Hurban Barracks (formerly Blocks B and C).
After some structural modifications, in June - September 2013, the library and the art collections moved to Hubran Barracks and later, in October 2013, the rest of administration also followed. The building on Riečna Street was closed.
Hurban Barracks houses SNG administration, library, depositories, restoration studio and carpentry workshop.
